Rough Cuts Woodworking uses recycled materials to create unique pieces of modern rustic furniture. The materials used in each piece include driftwood gathered along New England’s coastlines, remnant tiles, antique stained glass and old rough cut lumber recycled from rehab projects. These materials are carefully crafted into enduring and beautiful pieces of sophisticated and functional art that will enhance any room with a Salvage Chic character.
Rough Cuts was founded in 2003 by Jeffrey Black. For years, Jeff has been
making driftwood gifts for family and friends. The first public exhibit of his
woodworking was at the 2003 stART on The Street Festival in Worcester, MA.
Since then, Rough Cuts participates annually at a number of juried arts and
crafts shows around New England. Jeff lives in Worcester with his wife
Laurie and children Zoe and Eli. He works in Human Services.
